About this business
An historic 1820's restaurant, tavern and Bed & Breakfast once owned by Thomas Scott, Assistant Secretary of War to President Lincoln, and President of the Pennsylvania Railroad. Nibble on some appetizers or enjoy some lite fare. Have a refreshing cocktail by the fire, or take in the view from our garden patio. Our desserts are home made and our herbs are grown in our own back yard! Overnight stays are welcome in our B&B. We also provide accommodations for elopements, weddings, anniversaries and parties of any kind.

We celebrated our parents' 50th wedding anniversary there last evening. The service was excellent and the food was amazing! I highly recommend this beautiful historic restaurant!

We held a party for 27 people and everything was perfect! Even with the size of the group, the food call came out quickly and cooked as ordered. It was amazing. Ed did a great job on all the details and making it a very special night. Would recommend to anyone!
