We are a locally-owned and operated brewery, classic arcade, and pizza joint. We feature a variety of beers brewed in house as well as our favorite regional and national brands, and prepare our menu items from scratch using many local sourced ingredients. We are a family-friendly environment until 9:00 pm when we become a 21 and over space.

Best Gluten free pizza in town!
Great beer selection, decent food menu, solid group of arcade games with lots of pinball machines
As someone who has a gluten intolerance, the Quater Barrel is my go to place. They have extensive food options for those of us who have trouble ordering off other restaurants menus. Not only do we have options, but the flavors are all there. They literally have the best gluten free pizza crust I've ever tasted and you can only get it at the Quater Barrel because they make it in house. Stopped by the Quarter Barrel for the first time recently and thoroughly enjoyed myself. Their food is absolutely fabulous. We had the Crab Ragoonie pizza (yum!) and just a regular pepperoni pie - both of which were outstanding. I also had the house salad, which was to die for! Their house beers were excellent, too! ALL THE STARS. I hold quite a few corporate events at The Quarter Barrel and they are always excellent and easy to plan. email communication with the Quarter Barrel is easy and clear. They give me the option to pick all the food or they can take care of all the decisions (I prefer this). I don't have to worry about hosting at all. They can provide drink tickets and always make the rounds to make sure everyone has enough food constantly. Tasty beers, surprisingly solid pizza and appetizers. Fun game selection. Definitely a place to stop when in Cedar Rapids.
