Great atmosphere....tons of games to choose from. Pac-Man to NFL Blitz to Ghostbusters pinball. Really enjoyed this place even though I didn't eat anything. A little warm inside but it's the summer; they're cooking pizzas; and the games get warm too - not bad for Iowa!

Expensive menu including appetizers, with little choices. Didn't feel like a normal arcade bar. Felt like an upscale restaurant that had games for kids. Wife and I had fried pickles. They were around $8 when we went and there were about 10 pickles. Looks like from other reviews you either A need a new cook, or B need a new game plan. I want to see you survive. That is why I am leaving this review.

As always, the food was delicious, and a great beer selection. The place was clean, well staffed, and had excellent service. The owner even talked to me a while about his brew process, which was great to hear. My only complaint was that I didn't score as high on the games as I used to, but that just means I need to come back more to practice!

Very slow service. We were the first to order from our group ( 7 families only one server - not all families there at the same time) and the last ones to receive our food ( no plates given to us). Had the crab rangoonies pizza wasn't that great, pulled pork sliders had was ok. Had to ask several time for my sons drink which finally came 20 minutes later. Very dissatisfied

Business response:

Hi Heather. I am sorry for the service that you experienced on Saturday. We staffed for the greater than normal crowd that we expected... but unfortunately for all of us, we had two servers not show up. The server that you had is one of our best, so I expect that he was hustling and that any lack of attention had to do with him being stretched a bit too thin as he covered more tables than he should have had to. We take service very seriously and are dealing with the staffing issues at the heart of this hiccup in service that... read more

The only good thing about this place is the variety of arcade games. The food and drinks are way too fancy and pretentious for the atmosphere. Most people do not want fancy pizza or sliders for their barcade experience. They need to serve something a little more normal like regular burgers and pepperoni pizza. And have cheaper beer too.

Business response:

We know that specialty pizzas are not for everyone, which is why we have a very robust BYO section on our menu. Many customers just order pepperoni or sausage pizzas with the BYO option. We also have a full bar, meaning we serve house beer, craft beer and domestic of all types and wine and mixed drinks. In fact, we have domestic tall boys for $3.50 and some domestic beer as cheap as $2. We're sorry you did not enjoy our specialty items as many others do but happy that you enjoyed our games.
