The purple door is thee best place to get your nails done professionally in Portland. Years ago I went to a chop shop nail salon where your just a number in a line and got a cut on my toe that turned into an infection that took a year of antibiotics and two surgeries to clear up. So I’m very particular. I go to Allie and she is very clean and precise with her work and I like that she doesn’t try to dig or do things without asking. She is an artist. I just had a very disappointing experience here. I booked a mani pedi for me and my mother for her birthday . We arrived on time and we weren’t acknowledged and my pedi started 30 minutes late . We had an appointment for the both of us but we only had one nail tech so it took two hours for a very basic pedicure — no massage, no callous remover , nothing special. I got acrylics and dip done at another nail salon off 13th in Sellwood and they butchered my nails. Allie was able to fit me in last minute and totally transformed my nails into something beautiful! Thank you for being amazing!
