You will see the doctor on your first appointment and after that you will be assigned a nurse practitioner, but they do not tell you this. My insurance, BCBS, only charges a $30 co-pay for mental health visits but a $70 co-pay for specialist visits. This clinic does not give you a choice as to if you see a doctor or a NP, but they code it as NP and expect you to pay the $70 co-pay, even though they didn't give you a choice.
