I would give zero stars if I could. I lived in these apartments for two years, and when I resigned, they increased me by $40 (I should’ve left then). Let’s start with maintenance; two of the guys that I would see on the regular were great at fixing things, but spoke no English so it was hard communicating (even using a translator) about what the problem was with whatever was being fixed and how long it would take to be fixed. I’ve been living at Montrose Berkeley Lake for 2 years now, and I just renewed my lease for another year. Honestly, the only reason I decided to stay is because of Travis and his team. My first unit wasn’t the best but it wasnt bad either, but when Travis took over management this year, he went out of his way to get me into a much nicer, upgraded unit. Several times we've had the carpet and subflorring removed due to water damages. They of course raised rent and refused to look into any structural damages or preventative measures. Update: Weren't able to look into the damages before the lease ran out, were willing to waive the transfer fee to get us into a different unit at least. 2nd Update: they initially told us we had a month to move then pulled the rug out from us and told us we had less than a week to leave before they charge us month to month fees.

Firstable it was not bad to live in Montrose berkeley lake the only problem is the ROACHES , and a second problem is when u break the contract they WILL HAMMER U really bad with all kind of fee and I understand is all under the contract when we sign the least the only problem with me some Fee it doesn't make any sense and after u pay your final bill there is still something they gonna charge u, and I call the office no body know what is that !!!! What i can say PLEASE RUN FROM THIS PLACE BEFORE THIS THING HAPPENING TO U ...
