I had my first colonoscopy procedure today. This is my first time at this surgical center and I would Highly recommend them! From the smooth check in process to getting set up for the procedure, I had very helpful staff. They made sure I was very comfortable the entire time. And even had a light snack and juice afterwards. I felt very cared for and will definitely go back I I ever need to have a simple procedure done.
As nice as the staff were, they are woefully under experienced there. I was there for a very simple procedure. The IV they placed infiltrated (blew), and they could no longer use it. They didn't discover this until I was actually in the operating room. So then I spent 15-20 minutes with various staff attempting to get another IV line in me. After 20 minutes and them slapping my hands and applying heat and sticking me over and over, I called it. Dismissive of post operation pain as just gas even though it hurt like that before surgery. told them blood pressure cuff was to tight they insisted it wasnt it left scars on my arm. make you come an hour early for 10 minutes of prep then they make you wait in a room alone for the other 50 minutes.
Billing department doesn't actually notify you of an outstanding balance due until they send you to collections.
