After reading the previous reviews,I'm sad that some of you had such negative experiences. My husband and I have been going there for over 25 years and have seen several providers because two of them retired.It's a very busy clinic and you have to get there early and go in with a game plan. We have seen Dr.Lauren Roberts consistently & we have always received excellent care from her. I have seriously heard my 'doctor' say she doesn't want to 'deal' me outside of the room while waiting for 45 minutes. The male nurse is intimidating and repremands you if you are a minute late. Better go somewhere else. The people here aren't here for your health anymore they are here for money. I've been coming here since it was portland family practice.
It’s your healthcare people! Use your time and energies educating yourself and then advocating for your care. I’ve had great healthcare here and you will too if you put in the time and effort into how your managed health care will impact you. These are not healers they are doctors who practice medicine. If you want someone to make you feel good about yourself get -professional help from some one whose job it is to pump you up.
I have been with Portland Clinic for 20 years or so. They've had their changes but I have always felt that I was heard and that they genuinely care about my health and what the best course of action might be. My Dr. is Dr. Roberts and her P.A. who both are excellent. I am hard to please so when I say they are excellent that is from someone who expects a lot . I have gotten very good care, advice, and more than adequate time to discuss my issues with my doctor. My only problem is with parking. Can’t wait until they move to their new building.
