Giving a 3/5 because even though my last impression with them is poor, they did a great job on my gel manicures and pedicures for a year, they have kind staff, and a wide variety of OPI colors. My grievance is that the one and only time I called them with a problem (my gel manicure started chipping on day 3), they were very unhelpful. I don't understand the hype around this nail salon. Some of the staff is pleasant but most of them are not. They gave me a hard time for asking for 3 coats of gel polish (because the pink color was very light I needed an extra coat) + chrome. They charged me $22 for the chrome, which is insane. For the prices they charge, the service is not worth it. I won't be going back.

I really wanted to like this place because it’s so close to my house, but I’ve been done wrong too many times. I’ve been getting my nails done every 2 weeks for the last 15+ years, so this isn’t my first rodeo. I had to come back 3 times for the same gel manicure that chipped 1 day after the initial application, and then 1 day after the 1st fix, and 2 days after the 2nd fix. I came in with granddaughters ages 3 & 5 and we each had a mani / pedi. The girls had picked out nail art from pinterest and Jen nailed the designs, and did so great with the girls!!! I had a mani / pedi with Edy and she also matched the vision I had. The neck massage & flip flops were an extra bonus! 10/10 recommend!

Conveniently located on Fairmount Ave., I have been a regular patron of the Polish Nail Lounge for many years. The shop is always sparkling clean, odor-free and cheerful. While I have my preferred operator, it is apparent that all personnel are skilled and competent. I am happy the Covid fee was finally removed, albeit at least a year after pandemic restrictions were relaxed.
