RecommendedOur experience with The Pointe at Newtown was overall very positive. Our biggest struggle was with the charges assessed to us at move out. We moved out in May and received our final bill in July. There was a large fee assessed for some trash removal that surprised us. This is such a great community in Williamsburg. The location makes for easy access to local shops. The office staff is always courteous and professional. When I have had issues and needed maintenance to fix something they were quick to address the issues. The thing I love most about this community is that even during the Covid epidemic they always find ways to incorporate the residents in fun events, especially the face mask for national relaxation day. They have an amazing staff who I’ve seen go out of their way to help me and ensure I have a positive experience!
Our experience at the Pointe at Newtown was overall good until our final move out invoice was assessed by the community. We were assessed a large fee for trash removal from items we left down at the dumpsters. These items were left at the dumpster because in our minds this was a common practice within the community, and we were unaware at the time that a fee would be assessed. My girlfriend and I have been living here for 2 months now and we love it!! Staff is friendly and inviting as well as happy to help with any issues we have had! Even through the pandemic there has been great events for the community to take part in while still social distancing and they have done amazing job updating us on each event and guideline to keep everyone safe! We definitely recommend The Pointe at New Town, it has been an excellent place to live!

The location is great but the community is not that great. Especially during this pandemic residents are utilizing of the public area such as the pool area to sun bath while the area closed and has been clearly stated to the resident that it is closed by the community management. In addition residents further disregard public safety by utilizing the public area inappropriately in groupings that seem unsatisfactory. The management staff again has informed us to remain safe and distant however this is disregarded.
What a wonderful community to live in and be a part of. Staff here are always extremely welcoming, and it’s as if you’re always met with a smile. I love living here and I will continue to live here! I highly recommend
