Very happy with them. They have my recommendation. Easy to navigate website, nice selection which kept me busy for some time, easy to talk to when I called, and the entire order process was easy and smooth through to the end. A+ Everything came within a few days of placing the order and was perfect. The delivery company placed everything where I wanted. Everything was so easy and well done I couldn't ask for more. I will definitely return.
MR WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY. They charged my credit card the day the order was placed but they were unable to provide the product as it was on backorder for several months. I requested the order to be cancelled and a credit to be issued to my credit card. After several phone calls and emails and assurances that my card would be credited I ended up having to dispute the charge with my credit card company in order to get my account credited. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!
Pending today I have had a difficult experience and am waiting for my electric fireplace that was guaranteed to come before xmas.
Do not believe anything they tell you! My order was placed on 11/01/10. Martin Reguriro promised shipping in 10-12 business days. It is now 12/13/10, and I still do not have my furniture. I have wasted so much of my time on phone calls and emails with these people. I have been given the run-around. I have emails to document all of this. Today the manager refused to refund the $3800.95 that was taken out of my bank account by them on 11/03/10. I have just started a dispute of the charges with my bank. good company I had a very good experience with The Place Furniture Gallery. First their price was $100 cheaper than anywhere else on the Web. Second, it arrived ahead of schedule. The item was missing little rubber grommets that the glass top would sit on and I called and they were shipped out almost immediately. My sales rep/contact person was great, could not ask for more. Would definitely buy from them again. October 2010.
LONG waiting period I ordered my sons bedroom furniture. They told us 10 weeks, took half the amount of money at the time of purchase. It took six months of us calling and calling and waiting, I even called Hooker furniture directly to get involved. The customer service stinks, constantly talking to different people and no one has an answer. Of course, it's probably not their fault they work for a crappy owners and are thankful to have any job. Stay Away I ordered a complete set of living room furniture the third week of May 2010 and was told we would have it by 8-10 week. After this time frame, we called the store and they could not tell us where the furniture was, so I called Amex and explained the situation. Amex contacted the store and then the store called my house and told me that they would have the furniture 3 weeks which brings us to September 21, guess what? Stear Clear of The PLACE Ordered cocktail table and end table in Feb. 2010 told 6-8 weeks for delivery. Called over and over. Given the run around. No one calls back. Very Rude and inept customer serive. Told a different story and delivery date each time I called. NEVER able to speak to a manager. Finally in May said forget it and went elsewhere.
