The renters insurance that THEY made us get doesn’t cover flood damage and they KNEW the place was gonna flood because it flooded 5 years before and they didn’t add any drains to it why wouldn’t they just recommend a renters insurance that covers floods? We lost everything
I was a past resident here and after being told we HAD to move out the end of our lease, we were also told we would be getting our deposit back in full. We received a letter stating this also. It’s been 7 months and I have tried calling the number that is provided and I have never been called back. After this place treating there residents like straight garbage id like a call back and my deposit.
I stayed in this apartment complex for 2 years throughout the pandemic and beyond. It was the worst living condition that can be imagined from the constant bug problems to the power outages and maintenance issues along with increasing rent charges makes this a bad choice if looking for affordable safe apartments to stay in. Not to mention all of the damage that the storm caused to so many people that lost everything.
The Place at Alafaya has a 3.4 star rating with 328 reviews.
