So freaking good! I got the chicken pita and my cousin got the gyro. The chicken was cooked and spiced perfectly, and the bit of the gyro I tried was wonderful. Even their fries are better than most. Plus the price is right. For what I would pay at St. Pita's for one meal, I can buy a meal, plus a dessert and Turkish coffee, at The Pita Shop. I will defiantly be back for more.

As a Mediterranean food loving vegetarian, I am a falafel connoisseur & the pita shops falafel is by far the best I've had in San Marcos & even in Austin! It tastes fresh, not frozen, and traditional. The Greek vinaigrette salad dressing is incredible and the staff is so personable! If you want incredible Mediterranean food & want to support local business, check out the pita shop!
