The name Pig & Whistle has had a place in British history ever since daily rum rations were issued to all men aboard Royal Navy ships in 1655. As the story goes, it was the job of the junior midshipman to go below to draw the rum for the shop's company from the barrels - called "pigs". One day the junior officer arrived on deck drunk with the rum for the duty officer of the day. Went there mainly because I thought it was a central Florida Cleveland Browns fan hub.Was hoping to watch game with fellow fans.Sadly,I was the only fan there😢I guess it used to be,but not any more.The food was meh,but the service was great!Thanks for turning on the Browns game for me!

We LOVE the fish and chips! Whenever we have company visiting, they always want to go to the Pig! Best anywhere!
Excellent service, food and atmosphere! This was a 3rd time at this restaurant and it has been excellent every time. We had the stuffed chicken and cup of loaded baked potato soup and all was excellent! Highly recommend this quaint restaurant and pub!
We had the Shepherd's pie it was very good. Nice pub very helpful waitress.
