Such a great team here at The Pet Mechanic! We have been going here for years and they are all super friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. Plus, in my experience, I find the pricing here to be really affordable in comparison to other providers. We prefer this veterinary practice so much so, that we come up from South Philly each time! Trust them completely! My cats usually don’t do well with strangers, especially my Stella. She has so much anxiety after having to leave the home, but staff definitely know how to keep her calm. They are really gentle and had no problems answering all my questions. And, I never feel rushed!
Dr. Foley and his team were exceptional. When my cat required perineal urethrostomy (PU) surgery, the emergency vet recommended taking him here for surgery at a lower cost than what they could offer. Dr. Foley made space in his busy schedule to fit my cat in for surgery the day i called and was professional throughout the whole experience. We’ve been taking our dog Cooper to Pet Mechanic Fishtown for the past three years and we have had the best experience there. Cooper is a large, anxious dog and all of the staff there take such amazing care of him to make sure he’s comfortable, happy and healthy. They love him as one of their own which is really reassuring for us. We’d never consider going anywhere else for pet care!
We recently had to have our cat Corky put down and we've been through the process before with other vets but everything was so comforting and not so clinical as most places. Thank you for making a very difficult time a little easier. Miss you buddy.....
