Such a great team here at The Pet Mechanic! We have been going here for years and they are all super friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. Plus, in my experience, I find the pricing here to be really affordable in comparison to other providers. We prefer this veterinary practice so much so, that we come up from South Philly each time! We had an incredible first experience at the Pet Mechanic. Our dog has been scared of going to the veterinarian for years hopefully until now. Immediately upon arrival the staff, specifically John,Michaela and Dr. Harris showed Simone patience and wonderful care. They worked positively reinforcing routine vaccines and did not rush getting our gal comfortable first. Thrilled that the vet was finally a good experience.
Trust them completely! My cats usually don’t do well with strangers, especially my Stella. She has so much anxiety after having to leave the home, but staff definitely know how to keep her calm. They are really gentle and had no problems answering all my questions. And, I never feel rushed!
Dr. Foley and his team were exceptional. When my cat required perineal urethrostomy (PU) surgery, the emergency vet recommended taking him here for surgery at a lower cost than what they could offer. Dr. Foley made space in his busy schedule to fit my cat in for surgery the day i called and was professional throughout the whole experience. During the days following the procedure, I brought my cat in to be monitored during the day.
