Dr. Foley and his team were exceptional. When my cat required perineal urethrostomy (PU) surgery, the emergency vet recommended taking him here for surgery at a lower cost than what they could offer. We've been bringing our two cats and a dog here for about nine months, and every single person we've interacted with - receptionist, tech, and veterinarian - has been informed, responsive, and overwhelmingly kind. Love this place. I brought my pup in because he was having a fever and was not looking great. As a worried doggy mom, I wanted to find a place that would care for my baby like he was thier own. Luck brought me to The pet Mechanic. From the moment I walked in and was greeted by the front desk gentleman, I wish I remembered his name, I knew my pup was in the right spot. We are so happy with our care at Pet Mechanic. We have never had an issue getting an appointment and are always seen precisely on time. We also never met a technician that wasn’t the happiest and friendliest person. We have seen both Dr Foley and Dr Harris and don’t have a preference since they have both provided exceptional care to our Goose. We have been there a little more than we would like but Goose has been more than thrilled to walk in each time.
To start, the receptionists and vet techs are wonderful and that’s why I’m leaving even two stars. The vets on the other hand are unhelpful and I do not recommend taking your pet here. When I took my puppy in for uncontrollable diarrhea the vet was more concerned with listing out the slew of available treatment options from bloodwork to ex rays though none of her history indicated anything other than a fecal would be necessary to start.
