Jim and Sean, a 1995 graduate of Johnson and Wales, Providence, RI, and their wonderful staff have always strived to exceed your expectations. The food was fantastic! However we were celebrating my mother in laws birthday and had a reservation for 7:00 PM. We arrived early and were told we would have a table "soon". At 7:10 when we checked in with the hostess we were told curtly "working on it" finally 20 minutes after our reservation we were seated, with no apologies. We have been to The Perfect Landing a number of times and the food is always great. This time was no exception. The 2 star rating is because it took over an hour to get our meals AFTER we had ordered. It was a Tuesday, and it was crazy busy for a Tuesday. But, over an hour? The one year old was okay for the first hour, but then he had had enough and the meltdowns began.
From my hometown of Wellfleet, MA to my husband's hometown of Aurora,CO, nice to see those oysters on the menu! I've heard there are the worlds best....sorry I can not attest to it but we love coming back to the place that my husband started his career! Thank you Centinnel Airport & United Airlines for believing in my husband...where he started as a ramp agent and now is oroud to be a pilot of an Airbus A320!!
Just had a meal that made my lifetime top ten best meals list! Salmon oscar with garlic mashed potatoes and asparagus, hubs had Newport Pie. We shared PEI mussels in tomato fennel broth, and a grilled Caesar salad. For dessert, creme brûlée and bread pudding. A meal so good we didn't want it to end. Excellent atmosphere, nice waitstaff, and good to great service. The coffee was meh, other than that, it was so worth the price. Thanks!
In a word, it was perfect! The food was outstanding, the service was amazing and my date was the best!
