We had another fabulous Friday evening at the Peppermill. Our food was wonderful again!! Drinks were delicious! Rachel, our server, was so kind and efficient and being able to learn about how the restaurant came to be and talking with Dan and Lori was just wonder. We completed the evening with a great conversation with PJ Orsini who gave us a tour. We look forward to frequenting the Peppermill.
We were the first diners when the Peppermill opened and even got our picture in the paper. All six of us enjoyed a delicious dinner; our friend said it was the best steak he’s had in years. We’ll be going back.
Dinner at The Peppermill certainly exceeded our expectations! We shared the mussels, pepperoni roll, monkfish, and crispy pork, and we could not have been more pleased. Every single dish was full of amazing, complex flavors and was cooked perfectly. We especially appreciated the Appalachian influences evident throughout the menu choices. The presentations were on point, and our bottles of Sauvignon Blanc and Rose were excellent. We would absolutely recommend. Martinsburg has needed a restaurant like The Peppermill for a long long time. The wait staff is attentitve and knowledgeable. Cody, the Exec Chef and Des, the Sous Chef are putting out food that is of NYC caliber. Ed, the General Manager, was personable and highly visible during our entire dinner. When I drop 200 for dinner I expect that the food *AND* the service are top notch and the staff at the Peppermill have nailed it!
