We booked The Pearl Hotel through the Hyatt program and, as Hyatt Globalists, expected the usual benefits—but unfortunately, none were honored. At check-in, the staff was not helpful and seemed uninterested in assisting with an early check-in request. I booked a room at The Pearl Hotel through the Hopper app for the dates of May 17–20, 2025. Upon arriving around 7:00 PM on May 17 to check in, I was informed by the front desk that my reservation was no longer valid due to a “maintenance issue.” Unfortunately, they were unable to offer an alternative accommodation, as the hotel was fully booked for the night. Cute boutique hotel with a 60's vibe. It was nice to have a bar and restaurant on site. Parking is somewhat limited, but other than that, it was a good stay.
Great little boutique hotel. Has a retro vibe. Plenty of dining and cocktail options within walking distance.
Amazing care and customer service! I needed to make a very last minute change to my reservation. They were so understanding and accommodating. I will definitely stay with them for all future trips to San Diego! Thank you!
