Wonderful way to start off our Saturday evening..."Downtown Dining Duo"! Wings are still fantastic there...best in Berks! Michael was super hospitable and Paul and Morgen are awesome bartenders, entertaining and attentive...see you all again soon!
I was disappointed that the Peanut Bar didn't offer anything special for Cinco De Mayo. We used to go partying there whenever they celebrated Cinco de Mayo. You needed reservations in advance, there was a mariachi band, and the place was hopping. Last night, It was nearly deserted, which is a shame. Peanut Bar, you gotta come back, or you, too will be history in Reading. And, as you're my favorite restaurant with a great deal of history, that would be very upsetting.
Went to try the 6 time award winning wings..needless to say they were not award winning. And to top it off our server was in no way shape or form interested in serving us and was very rude. Def will not be returning. I was wondering why they were the ONLY restaurant in Reading that was not on a wait at 730pm on a Friday night.....
Great wings. Classic historic atmosphere. Good drink selection. Will be back again and again.
Been here an hour. We have had our appetizer but we are only getting sandwiches and will be late for our show �
