Went for supper at 5pm before Jeff Dunham show at 7 pm. By 6:15 we still did not have our meal. Ask server to find out how long till meal was coming nobody could tell us how long it was going to take. We had to leave without our meal. If they know there is going to be a delay they really need to let the customers know. They were nice enough to not charge us for our drinks. Lived my life in Reading & never thought this would happen to an establishment like this. Sorry but we will not be going back.
Some years ago since I was here and back then I would have given 4** but yesterday food was of 2* quality waitress did not recommend my first choice and only once did she check on us. To me it doesn’t matter if there was an event in the area this should have been able to be handled plus limited menu. ���� will not return.

Dropped in before an event at The Santander Arena. We managed to get seated right away. The service and food was great. So much so, the wife is already talking about our next visit!
The Peanut Bar has become my favorite restaurant! My husband and I have now had two outstanding meals in a row with excellent service! We especially love the fried cheese balls! Our kids especially enjoy the peanuts and being able to throw shells on the floor!

I had not been to the Peanut Bar in years and was looking forward to going back. What a disappointment. Food and service was flat out bad. This iconic restaurant should take a deep look inside and see what needs to change. Happy New Year! I also realize it is a tough night New Years Eve but if the food is bad overcompensate with nice wait staff!!!
