First time visit for a friend's bday. We tried a few of the cocktails, and ordered a wide variety of foods from the menu. All was delicious. The service was perfect, and the atmosphere, as someone else pointed out, is a bit like a speakeasy. Overall, the best kind of casual dinner spot with friends.
Pretty mid, to be completely honest. I say this as someone originally from Hong Kong and as an Asian American who grew up eating this kind of food regularly. I was genuinely excited to try this place because of all the hype surrounding it, but unfortunately it did not live up to expectations for me. The parlor has a really nice vibe, moody lighting and a whole second floor underneath with more tables and bar area, service was also great, very attentive and nice! The drinks were a little underwhelming, the cocktails were okay, but the Chinese liquors were really nice to sip on while eating and had interesting flavors! We ordered the specials for the night and they were fantastic! The rest of our group ordered vegan dishes and said they were excellent. It's a little loud, so hard to have a good conversation between all four of us, but we will absolutely go back. I thought the pricing was more than reasonable.
