What a homecoming. We were original tamari fans from the inception, visiting 2 to 3 times a month. When Roger closed up shop, we vowed to follow him whatever he landed. For some reason we kept forgetting The Parlor. Perhaps the non-descriptive storefront - perhaps the fact it was sold out for months at the beginning. So, yesterday was our first time. Called in a take-out order for dumplings. Service was pretty quick and staff friendly. When we got home, there was no sauce with the dumplings. We called and were told that the sauce was a separate, additional order. All the years we have had dumplings from many places - the sauce is always part of the order. Extra sauce is at an additional cost. But no sauce??? Will have to try to eat at the restaurant.

Holy cow, the lobster noodles, the vegetarian dumplings, the duck fried rice and the fish casserole were so freaking good I am sad I can't have them whenever I want. Don't miss this place. The food is unreal good.
Great food. Perfect for ordering a lot of small plates and sharing with a group. Highly recommend the spicy crab fried rice
