My wife’s First Amendment rights were blatantly violated by this property’s management staff who threatened us with eviction after my wife warned another resident about spotting (and photographing) an alligator in the canal behind our apartment. I am still researching what state and Federal Laws were broken. Since my wife is clinically disabled, at one least one Federal Law was clearly violated. I have been here for several years with the same thing over and over again. Maintenance is not just patching up; it's about fixing things. The turnover is at least 7 or 8 different staff and managers who come and go. No one is ever held responsible. Yet they continue to raise the rent even when they fail to make the necessary apartment repairs. It's gotten to the point that they can not answer emergency calls, along with poor repairs or non-existent ones.
