Everything perfect(rooms,spa pool etc... I love the spa they r very professional.
Overall very impressed with this hotel spa/resort but disappointed when asking for 1.5 hour late checkout, after a five day stay and spending a lot of additional funds at the spa and food services, to be told of an extra $100 fee ... Doesn't leave my family with a return feeling about The Palms. Of special note for good service were Carlos and Fresia at the spa and Auebril at the front desk.
This hotel is fabulous! I loved the hidden jungle and private beach! It only added to the gorgeous view right outside my room. The staff was excellent, the restaurant and bar were great as well. I would've given this hotel a 5 star review, but the only thing I didn't like were the hidden fees. I knew about the $22.95 a night, that wasn't a problem. The issue I have is when I checked in, the front desk told me there was a $50 holding fee. She didn't tell me what it was for, and when I asked she indirectly answered my question... read more
The front desk lady's attitude is blah. She could careless about what my package included. We went to have breakfast in the hotel restaurant. Not one waitress said a word to us. We did NOT get any water served. After 15mins of seeing the staff walk right by us and not even acknowledge us, we left. The rooms are so tiny!! I requested to be move to a bigger room. After all that, they still put us in the same size room, just furnished with one less chair. The beds are smaller than a queen size bed. No balcones either. I regret ... read more
