We stayed at the Palm Motel while at a preview day at SOU. The location was ideal, literally across the street. And we loved this cute, friendly, funky little motel... The room was clean, quiet and spacious, the kitchenette was a big plus, and the beds were so comfortable... We will absolutely stay here again if my kid ends up at SOU.
Very cute place, the people are really nice, and the rooms are clean. But the maintenance is lacking. We first stayed in their biggest room, #16. The tub didn't drain right, the TV didn't work, and the heat in the bedroom stopped working after two nights. We switched to #15 next door, but the heat wasn't working right there either. On a long drive from Seattle to San Diego and back, my nicest night's stay was at The Palm. The room and the grounds were charming, comfortable, and impeccable, the service was friendly, and it was by far the best value on the whole trip.
This is a very charming, clean and comfortable motel with a fun retro vibe and touch of whimsy. When I drove into town, I noticed the beautiful gardens and outdoor spaces. I will happily stay again and have already recommended to friends. It’s a winner in a sea of sterile unimaginative lodging.
The Palms is a great place to stay while visiting Ashland. We had the 2 bedroom. It was so tastefully decorated and a fantastic shower. Very quiet and inviting grounds. Highly recommended these accommodations.
