RecommendedA wonderful menu in a charming location, definitely worth the drive. Each night has a “Chef’s Whim” entry and here was mine: braised duck and red beet couscous with a jalapeno and currant reduction. It’s menus like this that make me want to go to culinary school if I ever win the lottery.
My friends and I enjoyed the Christmas Tea! My favorite entree would be pork chops with sweet potatoes and a homemade ice cream in the little canning jars! Yummy!!

Wow! Celebrated my birthday there this weekend. From appetizer to desert all food was exceptional. We had focaccia and charcuterie to start. Service was fast, efficient & friendly. We shared chicken with Adobo sauce served with grits & greens and then for dessert has 3 different flavors of their homemade ice cream. Dinner was so good we went back for brunch! Palisades is tucked out of the way in beautiful Giles County along the New River. We stayed in the Air B & B next door
Everything is perfect there!! The wait staff is awesome food is to die for, the owner comes to every table to say hello and thanks you for coming!!!!! A hidden gem!!!!❤️❤️❤️❤️
This restaurant is a MUST visit! I have lived in Blacksburg since 2012, and people rave so much about the restaurants, but I haven’t found something I LOVE...until now. Just a short beautiful drive outside of Blacksburg lies this gem! We started out with an excellent server, Qade. He was attentive and quick, and made the excellent food better. From the appetizer to our entrees to dessert, everything was original and delicious. I won’t recommend anything, because I am certain everything is incredible.
