This historic saloon and restaurant is decked up with old photos, gambling objects, mining tools, wooden accents and a tin ceiling. Enjoy live music and happy hours with your choice drink. Savor their dishes like The Palace Campfire Burger, Mesquite Pulled Pork Sandwich, Cattleman’s Filet Mignon, Chuckwagon Chicken and Cowboy Catfish. Until yesterday my experience at The Palace was always great. We had super service .. the waitress and staff were very attentive. The food was not up to par and not worth the price! Several of the mussels in the steamers were not opened... the steak was over done and the fish underdone.. and why would they put honeybutter on the baked potatoes? Good on the fresh baked bread.. weird on baked potato with sour cream. Disappointed
Atmosphere and the experience you people don't know what you're talking about. I've been the Prescott several times this time I thought I'd try the Palace , I thought it was going to be something special. We went in for some wine and a dessert after being seated we waited forever for a waitress or waiter or anybody that cared to take an order. Very friendly and comfy. Food and drinks were great.
I thought the service was great, the food terrific, and you will never find another place with the same museum saloon artifacts
The Palace is about more than the food. It has a rich colorful western and territorial history. The service is always good. The menu offers a little bit for everyone. My favorite are the buffalo burgers and amazing cornbeef sandwiches. We bring all of our out of town guest here.
Very historic!! Good beer!! Foods good, heaping portions what I had, their version of loaded tater tots! The help was very good, they'll tell you the history besides being dressed in period garb!!
LOVE THE FOOD AND GREAT SERVICE!! The pie was delicious!!
Morgan our bartender server was fantastic. The sandwiches were good and the beer was cold life is good
Memorial Day weekend was a bad time to stop in. Packed with both tourists and locals and apparently understaffed. Sitting at the bar and it took about five minutes to get a beer. But it took them about 15 minutes to get the wife an iced tea. The lady sitting beside us said that it took more than 25 minutes to get a cheeseburger and fries. Nice, historic place but I recommend you come in on either a weekday or on a non-holiday weekend.
The Palace has a 4.4 star rating with 4,305 reviews.
The Palace is closed now. It will open on Monday at 9:00 a.m.
