I should have written this a couple of months ago. I had a bunch of dear friends who were gathering in Arizona and chose to have dinner at the Palace. The history and atmosphere was undeniable. What was extraordinary was that I was able to get the attention of the very busy manager who helped me order a round of tequila for my friends whom I could not join. Great drinks, one of a kind atmosphere. Where else can you say you ordered a drink at the same saloon, touching the same bar, as Wyatt Earp & Doc Holiday? Not many places I think.
