Went to dinner here andd sat at the bar. The service, ambiance, and drinks are always lovely. The bar is beautiful here and it's why I ever remember to go here. I wish I could like the food here more. The items I've had here have only ever been ok. Last night I had the Wagu burger and my date had the fish and chips. Nothing was memorable about either. Third time here and the quality stays consistent. First visit the fish and chips were great, came back and tried the shepherd's pie which was hearty and flavorful, this time got the risotto and it was creamy and loaded with shrimp. Service has been good every time, atmosphere is always cozy, just wish portions were a bit bigger for the price but the food itself delivers.
Fish and chips where great, the shepherds pie was also a treat. The pie had the flavor of something that is only achieved with slow cooking of some sort. Sanjay served us and he was a delight. I look forward to more experiences.
