Front desk staff were great. Dr. Akhtar was very rude, unprofessional and was just a business man. We went for knee replacement consult and after that visit we knew we wouldn’t trust them and went with orthovirginia. We had to wait 2 hrs for 5min app with minimal info. Any questions we asked the dr said you need to make another app for me to answer that question. We ended up making another appointment which was worse than the first one.
My family was visiting from out of town and Melissa at the front was so friendly and helpful in getting my daughter seen as she had broken her hand. Alexandra and Stephanie were so pleasant, thorough, comforting and knowledgeable that I felt confident in their hands as we helped my daughter. Would highly recommend the Orthopedic Group!! Thank you to all the ladies that took the time to care for my child.
Dr. Gavin is the rudest dr I have ever encountered. Our daughter had a MRI and was in pain. We had to call the on call and he was the dr. He dismissed us and wouldn’t listen just kept cutting us off. Tried explaining yes the injury happened a few weeks ago but the CURRENT mri that was done yesterday stated something else and we were told to try and get of hold of the office. 5 stars for PA anthony. 1 star for dr. Gavin Loved our experience with Anthony when my daughter broke her arm. Despised my own experience with Dr Matthew Gavin who was cold, annoyed, unhelpful, and didn't even say anything as he ended the visit and walked out the door. He seemed to let me diagnose myself and had no solution for me if my pain turned chronic.
