We are a small shop (usually only 2 employees) so if you get our answering machine leave a msg. we will get back to you . We are open 6 days a week Mon. thru Fri. 10am to 6 pm. and Sat. 10 am to 4 pm. We specialize in Harley Davidson and all American made V twins . WE DO NOT WORK ON SCOOTERS .

I found Scott through another mechanic I used to use for metric bikes. I don't know what I would have done had I not found him except I would be at the mercy of HD shops and their mechanics who have the shops interest ahead of mine. GREAT guy!!! My drive belt snapped randomly out side the redroof inn up the road from his shop and i had to head back to jacksonville the next day for work. I called harley didnt have the belt and couldnt get it tell mid week. My girl who was with me found the number for The Original Bad Guys and we called them up and drove to the shop. It was just him and his son playing catch out front. They drove up to the hotel loaded up my bike and we followed them back to the shop. Scott, the owner of The Original Bad Guys, is the most thorough mechanic I have ever hired. Scott is an old school, no nonsense mechanic who takes pride in his work and treats your bike like it is his own. I have tried other places in the Columbia area, and his knowledge and proficiency surpasses theirs by leaps and bounds….that’s saying something for a shop nowhere close to my home. Scott is the best. We were broke down in Columbia on Easter weekend and the dealership was unable to help us. We combed the yellow pages and found the Orginal Bad Guys shop and Scott was great. He came tot he hotel picked the bike and us up, took all down to the shop tried to fix bike and there was more than a battery problem. Don't bother dealing with ANYONE else when it comes to your bike. Whatever you need, Scott delivers at a fair price and impeccable work! Want your bike treated like it was their own? Then they are the ones to see! Scott is the ONLY one that touches my bike, enough said.
Scott and Mad Cycles are the best there is for ANYTHING you need for your bike, bar none. Forget those service departments at the local dealers where you don't know who is touching your bike. If you are like me you have invested a lot of money in your ride and why risk it when you can deal with Scott directly EVERY visit? He is the best and straight up about what he does. Don't go anywhere else, Mad Cycles is the ONLY bike shop in Columbia.
Scott has exceptional talents and knowledge of custom Big Twins. His shop should be your first and only stop. He is one of the most honest and fair motorcycle mechanics I've met in years and treats your bike like his own. Scott gives the customer a very clear understanding of what is going on with the bike and provides a good understanding of the cost and time required to repair the bike.
Called Madcycle in hopes of getting my 1984 XL 1000 HD Sportster back on the road. Scott picked up my bike at the house within the hour.
