I guess I’ve spent the majority of my life being in the dark because up until today, I thought that doctors would see patients with the appropriately contracted insurance. Not at The Oregon Clinic though. I was seen by a doctor there in the past and wanted to return to the same endocrinologist. They list my insurance on their website, and my insurance lists them as a contracted provider, but when I called to schedule an appointment I was informed that the practice manager told them not to accept any more Tricare patients. Dr. Whiteford is a gem. He put me at ease right away with his down to earth manner, and took care of my problem expeditiously. Thank you!
Waited months for an appointment, arrived early, they didn't open door until I knocked, then pushed me aside with a sign, then my doctor was a half hour late. Once we got into the appointment I told her my frustrations and she told me to find a different doctor.
