My experience with OCVT was not a positive one. I'm an adult and was treated for BVD at both Austin locations. My main concern was they had me do very, very basic "in clinic" exercises and also "at home" exercises. They strictly limited how often I did my home exercises by telling me "studies say there is no benefit in doing more home exercises than 3x a week." My son’s reading, writing, and overall confidence have tremendously improved because of OCVT!! All the staff are welcoming and polite, but his therapists Andrea and Destiny and the Director Ashley went above and beyond to ease his fears, answer all our questions and ensure that we felt cared for and comfortable at each and every session. Thank you!!
They have a great staff here that cares about the kids, works hard with them, and gives clear metrics to the parents to track progress. Ms. Andrea has worked closely with my son and seems as proud of his progress as I am. They definitely care about the improvement of my kid’s vision.
OCVT has improved my son’s eye tracking and reading speed drastically. Helping him with both school and sports. The staff is always so friendly with scheduling and making the work as fun and relevant for his interests.
