Dr N*** is awesome!! She is professional and personable and very thorough! I highly recommend The Optical Boutique. They provide more therapeutic and in depth services besides contact and eyeglasses.
I have had three visits to The Optical Boutique, due to an issue with my right eye, during this pandemic, and I have been treated with the utmost respect every time. EVERYONE there has been very nice, very respectful, completely professional. I was also informed prior to each appointment that I would need to wear a mask, which I had absolutely no problem with at all. Went in for my annual appointment today, yes during this pandemic. I was RUDELY greeted because I wasn't wearing a mask (it's not required to wear a mask in public), and thrown a disposable SHOP TOWEL with rubber bands to wear or else I would be refused to be seen. I was RUSHED immediately into the bathroom to wash my hands (This is honestly a bit dramatic to me at this point, it's not a flesh eating plague). This is completely untrue. We have the entire encounter recorded on our regular surveillance video. She was greeted in a very friendly manner, offered a FREE mask and given a new, clean pen..Both of which she threw down upon exiting. Two signs "mask required" are posted at our front door which she entered through. The day before, she received and RESPONDED affirmatively to our email saying masked are required for the safety of our patients and staff. We have proof that her email was read. The Optical Boutique was recommended to me by a neighbor for my yearly eye exam that was about 5 years overdue! It was REALLY easy and fast to get an appointment. Dr. Andrew S*** spent more time with me than any eye doctor ever has for an exam! He educated me about my mild dry eye and things I could do about it, which OTC readers I needed for my common tasks/hobbies, how my Fibromyalgia diagnosis affects my eyes...I've never gotten such an education about things I just thought I had to suffer through as I aged. I had a very favorable, positive experience with Dr. Andrew S***. This was my first exam visit. I found the staff very affable, professional, and willing to help. Dr. S*** was very knowledgeable, professional, and helpful. I really liked the positive energy in the office. The office area is in a beautiful area of Germantown. For those interested in purchasing eyeglass frames, they have a great selection. I would recommend this office to anyone without any hesitation.
