Went there last night New Years for prime rib with my wife. Appetizer of spinach artichoke dip was purée. Prime rib was like eating leather and mine was medium rare. On a side note server was prompt but we were close to servers station and you have a male server that needs to learn to have a inside voice. His Christmas story was not part of my dinner plans. Went to Olympic. Horrible meal ribeye steak, could hardly eat it. Tough and Grishly. Potatoes warm on top cold on the bottom always had great food before. Always loved the Olympic before.
There is nothing on their menu worth eating. They survive and thrive because they are the ONLY restaurant/bar of that size on the West side of Rockford where you can bring your kids or a large group. They earned a great reputation back in the 70s, 80s,90s but they no longer live up to it. Food is subpar at best.
RecommendedThis is the place we go to when we want to go out. Great food, great atmosphere and most of all great people. They're like second family.

My ribeye was tasteless along with the potatoes. the potato soup was pretty good although the service from when we entered was absolutely horrible! Not to mention our waitress never picked up one plate or glass the whole meal that was dirty or asked us how everything was.
Great food and wonderful staff- great atmosphere
food quality is really bad. drinks were pretty tasteless. and they aren't following social distancing guidelines either. definitely don't recommend them. 🤢

All our tables are spaced well beyond 6 feet, masks are worn by staff and guests at all times, and we still haven't pulled 30% of our tables out of storage.
