Terrible experience. Never went back! – Had lasagna here with my family of 4. Bit into my dinner and hit something hard. Piece of glass in my food. The waitress basically told me I was a liar and acted as if I brought it in to get a free meal. Never went back and have talked to other people that had the same thing happen. Their story is that there is no glass in the kitchen so it was impossible. HA! I guess someone in the kitchen planted it in the food then, because I didn't!

So-so italian food – I have been to the Spaghetti factory quite a few times, and it is not that impressive. It's average food, and for some reason, it is always packed!! The food is mediocre yet the line is always out the door. If you go to the spaghetti factory for lunch, they do have an awesome soup and salad combo, and it's all you can eat. The service however, is slow, so if you only have an hour for lunch, you might want to consider ordering your food to go. The food is not terrible, but if you're looking for great-tast... read more

Get It To Go! – After years of working in downtown San Jose I have seen many eateries come and go but OSF seems to be the staple there. The atmosphere is incredible when you walk in. Huge framed pictures on the wall, what San Pedro Square used to look like, and beautiful antique furniture in a variety of warm colors. I used to try to eat here on my lunch hour but the service was always slow and not very friendly. I wised up and started ordering it to go. They have parking for to go orders in the back which makes it super con... read more

Simple but very good. This is a must to try at least one time. Fresh hot baked bread delivered to your table with 2 types of butter, before you even order. I LOVE the pesto dressing. The fact that they serve you fresh salad on chilled plates is awesome!! They give you big portions, salad, bread service, and dessert for such a reasonable price. A family of 4 can eat cheap here, and most likely take some food home. Its a family favorite and I would recommend it for a birthday party or family event.

I love OSF...when downtown it's my first choice. You get a big bang for your buck...you can get away with a totally filling dinner for $15...including salad, bread, entree, ice cream and coffee! Make sure to try the manager's favorite with half meat sauce, half mizithra cheese.....oooo.....LOVE IT!

Restaurant is decent, but the bar is a hidden gem I have gone to virutally every restaurant in San Jose, and i would classify this restaurant as average. But what most people dont know is that the bar is a hidden gem. The drinks are the cheapest in the city, they have a huge selection of alcohol and has good drink specials. Bartenders are very good and they give out huge portions of liquor. If you are trying to have a night out and have drinks, check this place out. It gives you the most value for your money.

Kitschy Italian restaurant churns out heaping plates of pasta that won't break the bank. – In Short Whimsical antiques and decorative items--velvet armchairs, vintage-looking fringed lamps and booths made from iron bedsteads--fill the dining room. The OSF Classics menu offers spaghetti with a choice of mushroom sauce, rich meat sauce, browned butter and feta-like mizithra cheese sauce, and more. Other popular favorites are the baked lasagna--layers of noodles, tomato sauce and four kinds of cheese--and the fettuccine Alfredo... read more
