Fun Place Now for Sarasota this place is cool, and for Siesta Key this place is still at the top, towards the end of the western side. The place has great a dinning area, bar, and patio. They always have the sports games on. Menu is good and simple, clam strips to crab they have it all. Patio is dog pet friendly.
great stop after the beach The patio at Old Salty Dog is very nice, cute with the dog dishes and dog friendly atmosphere. They have TV's out on the patio. It's a great location to stop after a day at the beach. Good food.
Casual Seafood Fabulous grouper sandwiches that you can wash down with an ice cold beer. Full bar available. Nice spot to dine after the beach. Limited menu, but reasonably priced.
Old Salty Dog is the worst restaurant in Siesta Key! We are locals to the Siesta Key area and we decided to try our luck with the Old Salty Dog since we had family in town. I strongly suggest NO ONE to waste their time and money in this establishment. We started out with the worst waitress that I can honestly say we have ever had. Great service, extremely busy, and worth every bite. The crab was enough for two, even three people! The dogs were AMAZING! Best of all it was affordable. Decent house wine, beers, and great selection of food. My first grouper as delicious fish tacos. Thank you Salty Dog for a great meal and service.
Great service and all the NFL games during Football season. Amy is the best bartender in the Village. Lacey took good care of us as well. Really good Lobster Rolls and just about everything else on the menu.
