One of my favorite places to eat. I travel hours to eat here at least once a year! There clam chowder is to die for !!
Come for the Inn...stay for the food! Visited Hampton Beach with my Mom, June, and Mother-in-Law, Millie last weekend. From the moment I called reservations and spoke with Maureen who went above & beyond being kind & helpful, to the quaint & comfortable room! To top it off they have the most elaborate & delicious array of brunch delectibles on a Sunday afternoon in The Old Salt Tavern. You could stay on the beach... but why? Jo-Anne

I love how this place looks from the outside and on line...coming in feels comfy but with closer scrutiny very dirty. Came in for the award winning brunch which looks great but when you sit down with your plate...cobwebs,dust and grunge smelly lounge...wash your beer mats very off putting. Staff very friendly and attentive. I managed in a restaurant for years presentation is everything. A good scrubbing would go a long way. I know the Salt has been around a long time but the devil is in the details.
Hi, Just celebrated my birthday with my good friends at Old Salt's Sunday Brunch. All I can say is Excellent!! 5 stars +. A great time and great food.

Old Salt is great, but I will never stay at Lamies Inn again. A recent bad experience at this establishment was bad enough, but we have made several attempts to contact the staff with feedback and complaints, and have received absolutely no response or acknowledgement.
