Thank goodness you had somebody running the kitchen today with more then half a brain. I am a longtime local repeat customer of the Old Salt. Lately I've been using the Golfer Delivery Service rather than eating in house. The last time I held my tongue getting the $28.00 Fisherman's Platter with exactly 2 shrimp, 2 scallops, 2 fried clams, some dried out Haddock chunks... Fries. This is a great place for lunch or dinner Great staff, atmosphere, food and prices!
We went to brunch Sunday for my brothers birthday and the food was outstanding! I've been raving to friends about how good the food was. We will be back again most definitely!
Always a great spread, a little something for each meal
We went last night thinking we would get a great meal as usual!!!! Well I went with prime rib oh how disappointing dry & over cooked!!!’ It was cold mashed potato was fair at best!!! Waitress was very disinterested!!
I loved the fish and chips fresh fish homage chips and the creamsicle martini was great. Best fish dinner I have had. And the staff was wonderful. I will be visiting again
Been here a few times now after a recommendation for a local (friend). Always great food and exceptional service. I would (and have) recommend it to anyone. Can't wait to go again.
It has been one of our favorite places for many years. Monday night (New Years Day) my husband and I had dinner there. His fish and chips were good. My salmon was dried out, way overcooked, baked potato was dry and just warm, green beans were way under cooked. I guess Mondays the good chef is out. Won't go again on a Monday. I'll give them one more chance. Too many other good restaurants around now.
Fabulous food and great service !! I definetly reccomend the brunch. Also ask for Liz as your waitress. She'll take good care if you..
