Thank goodness you had somebody running the kitchen today with more then half a brain. I am a longtime local repeat customer of the Old Salt. Lately I've been using the Golfer Delivery Service rather than eating in house. The last time I held my tongue getting the $28.00 Fisherman's Platter with exactly 2 shrimp, 2 scallops, 2 fried clams, some dried out Haddock chunks... Fries. No coleslaw, $.50 for each Tartar Sauce, Cocktail Sauce, dinner rolls, butter, honey butter. I got one of each. If you eat at the restaurant these a... read more

We went to brunch Sunday for my brothers birthday and the food was outstanding! I've been raving to friends about how good the food was. We will be back again most definitely!

Been here a few times now after a recommendation for a local (friend). Always great food and exceptional service. I would (and have) recommend it to anyone. Can't wait to go again.

It has been one of our favorite places for many years. Monday night (New Years Day) my husband and I had dinner there. His fish and chips were good. My salmon was dried out, way overcooked, baked potato was dry and just warm, green beans were way under cooked. I guess Mondays the good chef is out. Won't go again on a Monday. I'll give them one more chance. Too many other good restaurants around now.
