Our favorite go to restaurant and pub
Had brunch and dinner there and both were great.
Varied menu of appetizers, salads, sandwiches, specials, and entrees at reasonable prices. Cozy, rustic atmosphere with separate rooms for events and private parties. Large Sunday Brunch Buffet with seafood, but a bit pricey at $21.95 per person, but regular menu is not overpriced.
I went for Fried Clams, I ordered the Fisherman’s platter, the clams were small bellies and over cooked, the rest of the fish was just OK, I expected better with the reputation of the Old Salt, sorry!
Last week we visited the old saltwaited all winter. We have summer residence there so we eat there every week. I can not tell you how disappointed we were. What’s going on the food was horrible. Will try once more everyone has a bad day. So dissapointed
Great buffet!!!! Dining room is so much nicer with the old flooring!!
Put back the wooden booths!
