Birthday lunch for my 22 year old - definitely her happy place! Love, love, love the cheese curds.
Great bloody Mary's and the best burgers and cheese curds!
Cheese curds were good but a tad greasy at the end. The roasted garlic dip that you can get with it is awesome tho. My burger was good but a tad overdone when I wanted medium, but the horseradish sauce on it made up for that. My boyfriend had a walleye sandwich. I had a bite and it was quite good. He found a couple bones at the end but that can happen with walleye so we weren't mad. All in all, I'd still go back. I'm not a complainer unless it's absolutely awful and this was pretty damn good. All complaints were very minor.
We love stopping here when we are in Madison. Our bartender was so much fun to watch tossing around the ingredients for our drinks. And the food awesome. Must haves....cheese curds with sauce, #30 burger � �
The atmosphere was great, there was zero wait, and the food (Spicy Burger and cheese curds) came out quickly. Washing it all down with The Old Fashioned House Brew was a treat.
We went for Sunday brunch. It was excellent. Bartender was attentive and liked to banter with us. Food was scratch and delicious. I love the vibe in this place.
They don't accept reservations and was super packed BUT it had a really fun atmosphere and we were lucky enough to find a seat at the bar. Our bartender was friendly, attentive and made awesome recommendations & drinks! Great selection of Wisconsin brews and the fried cheese curds were amazing.
Slow unfriendly service. Cheesecurds were good but I ordered a bowl of chilli & literally was served a bowl with grease floating on top & over the edges. The man sitting next to me who had just eaten a cup of it commented that mine must have been from the bottom of the pot. I could have poured nothing but a cup of grease off the top. The server didn't even ask why I didn't eat it, just a very curt "are you done with that"? Only thing on my trip to Madison that was a disappointment.
We enjoyed our food and service! Cheese curds were delicious and the Bloody Mary was also delicious! Service was a 10!
