About this business

Old-fashioned charm is what you will find at this spot, that is unfussy, unpretentious, and as homey as your living room. Lots of old favorites are served up here, including, of course, about ten variations of clams. The Sweet Raw Clams get high praise and the Fried Clams are a crispier alternative. Fried seafood choices include oysters and calamari. Specialties of the house are seafood Provencal, Seafood Mescalanza and other shellfish mixes.

The WORST CRAP/CRAB sandwich for $18.00 I've ever eaten!!! The crab must of come from a BAD crab salad left over from Valentine's Day. The chef, flung this mess of little pieces of stale crap/crab & shoveled it between two dried out hamburger buns!!! And, they call this a $$$ restaurant! You'll never see me step into this Old place again!!!

Love this place, not too fancy, n yet elegant. It's a family favorite. The waiters know my parents faces and if their spot is not occupied are always seated there. The service has been superb, food consistent and a great atmosphere. the clam juice shots are a classic, order it with a nice clam linguini and a nice wine, n the day is over. Ooo n don't forget their decadent desserts.

My usual stop whenever we are in town. The Chopino is always good.

A group of us went to dinner there prior to the Paul McCartney concert at Candlestick in August. My husband and I are still talking about the cracked crab plates we ordered! Buttery, garlicky goodness. The service was excellent. A great place to go for those who really appreciate a fine dining experience for a change! I would highly recommend and can't wait to go there again.
