Really poor communication skills
Disappointed in OSU Medical Centers ability to have competent doctors on call during weekends. “Physician” named Zach on call for GI on 03/15/2026 was less than helpful during our call. Couldnt answer a basic question about my upcoming procedure concerns. Laughed when I asked his name and said it was just ‘Zach’. No last name. Would not provide any information or point me in the direction or someone who could help me. Very disappointed to be abandoned by the specialist. Evidently a research and teaching hospital like OSU cannot deal with illnesses outside the textbook. I cannot get a response from the provider and don’t feel much effort went into trying to discover what I am suffering with and no options on how to live with it. I have since gone to Cleveland clinic and had more information and feedback in the first visit than I did with a year with OSU. Very disappointing
Always top notch care for my husband who had a liver transplant in 2013.
