So enjoyed myself with my peers @ oceanaire today!!!
I love this place. The sides are incredible, lobster Mac and cheese and the fried calamari is a must try. Chef Murphy came out and greeted us at our table while we where there which I thought was above and beyond what you get from most restaurants. The service and food was both spot on. What a cool experience! We will be going back soon.
Just went there on yesterday for BDAY!....Great dishes, and the BEST SERVICE, sets them apart!.....The jumbo crab cake, shrimp n grits, Jerk Cobia, and Pecan crusted trout AND that MONSTER chocolate cake was absolutely phenomenal!...Hats off to Chef Bryan for his talented gifts in the kitchen, and Avi, our waiter was so GREAT!....Thanks Guys again, for making my BDAY special!......
Went on 9.9.15 midtown restaurant week. Horrible food, sadly dissapointed. The fish that was substituted for the snapper taste like mush with no seasoning ....sent it back. ..got the shrimp. ..same issue, no seasoning ..... the bread pudding was cold and taste like a cardboard box... I thought I was on an episode of punked. The squash lobster bisque and crab cake were great...they trick you with the bisque and make you think your remaining food will be good...wasted $70.
We celebrated our 33 rd anniversary tonight ... Alex was superb .. And so was the food as usual !!!
