Fantastic Bell's beer dinner this evening, Oak Barrel captured an eclectic warm atmosphere while facilitating, and educating their guests with an unbelievable 6 course pairing of the best offerings available in this market. If you missed it, make sure you don't miss the next one. Great Job O.B.
The atmosphere was welcoming and intimate. The food at this place was good. However, the service was some the worst I've experienced at a restaurant. Our waitress should definitely consider a new career choice. Although she had a nice personality....she just wasn't a good fit as a waitress. Also, it was extremely HOT where we were seated. The waitress even complained of that. It made our dinner very uncomfortable and somewhat unenjoyable. But with a good waitress and less heat, I'd definitely go back again.

Great Place, Great Beer selection, Different Food, not the usual fair. So far so good, right? Sat at the bar, told the bartender that this was our first visit. Order a couple of craft beers. Ordered an app. Order a couple of more beers, ordered dinner. There was only 7 or 8 people at the bar. No one was getting anything to drink! It's a bar! Empty glasses all around. Bar tender was in the kitchen area. Really? What a shame. There was plenty of other help. I don't understand why we couldn't get a drink at a BAR.
