North Face I love this store! They carry a ton of products that third-party vendors (REI, Nordstrom, etc.) don't. Many of their tents and sleeping bags are on display so you know exactly what you're buying. They'll order anything from their catalog and ship it to the store for free. Staff are great. It's a fun place to kill some time or make a major purchase.
Hangover Piled up together, this store is a labyrinth of goods highly priced, It's dark and stuffy. The sales crew do their best to help you but have no clue either. No discounts or deals. Found my luck at Rei.
The place to go for North Face The North Face brand is durable, priced well, and looks good too. If you are in the area, skip the 3rd party vendors and head straight to the North Face Store on 1st Avenue. You can really take a look at the brand here. They have everything - most of it not carried elsewhere. Even better, if they don't have it, they are more than happy to order it from their catalogue and have it shipped to the store for free.

They will suggest you buy the most expensive gear so they can rack up on commissions. The quality of the clothing is exceptional, but the prices reflect their popularity along with all the style and material. It would be great if they had sales, and even when they do have sales, it's still very expensive. Other brands such as marmot and columbia are decent and will hold up just like a... read more
Well worth a visit The North Face is one of Seattle's successful businesses. Their equipment is well made, priced within reason and they always have a good stock of outdoor goods, especially for camping. It's a great store to see.
Burn your dollars We went in to look for ski gear and could not find anything decent as only the most expensive would do. Its also a pretty crappy store with dopy staff. We got lucky at Revo in Seattle.
Priced sort of high. Many of the items at this store are a little expensive for the quality. I must say the jacket I purchased from there tore very easily. It did the 1st time I went snowboarding with it. The store offers a large selection, and the staff are knowledgable. However I would disagree that the quality of their goods matches their prices.
