I think about The Next Door a lot... it was not my last rehab but almost. They taught me how to care for myself, and start to get back in touch with God. They did not teach me what to do when I left. So I relapsed again. I went to another 12 step based rehab and learned ACTUALLY what to do - get phone #s, get a sponsor, get a home group, etc. I think The Next Door is a wonderful place that would greatly benefit from FAR MORE 12 step work and practical living guidance. I wish there was some way I could help with this.

The next door saved my life. I left AMA because the food was bad! I was starving. Loved the staff. Still sober. 35 days. It works if you work it!!!
I am a 2011 graduate from the 6 month residential program. TND took me in from federal holding and taught me that I have worth. They helped me learn to love myself and reestablish my relationship with God. I found my calling there, and I am happy to say I am following it! Because of TND, I have a new life in Christ! I love the staff so much and make it a point to visit when I am in Nashville! �🕆�🕆�
