Being a Police Officer for 27 years now retired, I was asked to work security for the Next Door event. This is a great organization that helps women get back on their feet. Enjoyed seeing families together, kids seeing their mothers. There was plenty of joy and love around today.
The next door has been a blessing in my life it has opened doors that i never thought would open.The staff is amazing and truly care about us women and our recovery.If any one needs help and they want it and are ready The next door is the place to come.
In short the next door saved my life, and taught me how to live in this new life and enjoy every second of it.
I donate some of the clothing you guys get from my store in Hendersonville. I will say the stories I hear make me tear up every time and I am sooo thankful that I am able to help these women in some way. Please let the women know that we are glad they enjoy the clothing and accessories. We will continue to surprise them more and more each year.
When I came to the next door I was totally empty the compassion and love the staff showed me I was worth something I will always be in their debt for everything
