Newport Lofts has been excruciating to work with, especially when it comes to dealing with COVID-19 related issues. We had to cancel our wedding 2 weeks prior due to COVID travel restrictions, and were not offered any refund (I would have been happy with even 50% refund at this point). They only offered a gift certificate for a future stay and acted as if they were doing us a favor since their normal cancellation policy does not offer money back for a cancellation under 30 days. Amber, we take your comments and concerns very seriously. Our cancellation policy is very clear and states that there will be no refund within 30 days of your reservation. However, we do understand that times are difficult for everyone. To help in these trying times, Vacation Newport has offered guests who need to cancel their stay a gift certificate option to be used at a later date, should they not want to incur any cancellation fees. The Newport Lofts were awful to work with especially with rescheduling with the coronavirus. I was originally booked for a mid-April 2020 weekend. Unlike Airbnb, they were not offering refunds.They did offer gift certificates, then they jacked up the prices for future stays. With this method, they are trying to recoup costs due to the corona virus with future stays and unreasonable prices. Our July stay at 611 Thames was fantastic! It’s fresh, clean and beautifully decorated. The location is superb for walking to restaurants and shopping near the water. This is a great place to stay!
Beautifully decorated lofts and very roomy. I was impressed with how clean the unit was. Very comfortably appointed and it a very convenient location, we were able to walk just about everywhere! This trip was a girls trip but it would be perfect for the family with the amount of space and amenities!
Gals weekend at 359 Thames, Northeast. One word comes to mind: PERFECTION!!!! Beautiful place, great location.
The Newport Lofts are great. I've stayed there 3 times and all of the condos are beautifully decorated and in a very convenient location. Walk to shopping and dining, and a very short drive to the beaches and mansions. We will keep coming back!
