I just wanted to give a shout out to the amazing woman who works at The Nesting Place during open play! Today was my first day returning since I had my second baby (7 months old now) My 2.5 year old was having a bit of a meltdown because she was hungry and because she wanted to go on a rocking horse she was too big for. I was trying to pack up to leave and this wonderful woman helped me by holding my daughter so I could get her shoes on. She then helped me bring both of my littles to the car so I could get situated. Such a hidden gem, and definitely recommend for any parents out there looking to do fun things with your babies and little ones ( As in gettung out of the house even for a min) . I did the baby and me yoga definitely a sweet moment with my little one . The times were great enough parking and your in a safe Mama space which is a huuuge plus. I DEFINITELY recommend .
The nesting place created a phenomenal community for families on LI. From prenatal education classes that help moms learn about what THEY want with no pressure, to postpartum support groups that help families develop lifelong connections, this place is the BEST
Highly recommend for new moms. I did the free class and it was so nice just to connect and be around new people. The play area looks wonderful too, for when my baby gets bigger.
THANK YOU to the nesting place for creating such a warm, welcoming environment for first time Mamas. As a newbie to long island, and pregnant with my first child, I scoured the internet for Mom groups and discovered the Nesting Place.
