Sad to say but this place has gone downhill. I used to love going there but after today I'm not sure if I'd ever go again. The service was fine but the food has considerably decreased in quality. Watery bland Alfredo and pesto sauces, poorly cooked pasta, and I would stay away from their seafood entrees. We ordered the 'chef special' scallops and they were mushy, and not cooked properly. I'm pretty sure they were the low quality type you pick up in the freezer aisle at Cub. Not even close to worth the steep price tag.
We had a baby shower at neighbors today for my niece. The whole staff was very helpful and accommodating. All of the guests said their food was delicious. We were able to stay in the room as long as we like and visit afterwards. The best part is I was able to come home and take a walk with my dog instead of doing dishes or feeling exhausted from all the work!
Just went there for valentine's day for dinner the food was great and the service was too will definitely be going back
Horrible customer service. First did not keep our Groom's dinner reservation at the Tav. When promised a discount at Neighbor's, the manager never returned our calls, like they said they would. Had a work party here and they were serving seconds to people before others had even received any food. By the time the food was served, it was cold. They also had the wrong date booked.
Our favorite place for a special occasion. Wine menu is great and food and service have always been excellent for us. Visited recently for my free birthday dinner (rewards club). On a snowy night, mid-week, after 9 pm, they were still more than happy to provide full service with a smile. We never felt rushed and felt that our visit, even through discounted, was truly appreciated. My wife and I have gone to this restaurant numerous times and have had amazing food every time. The food here is the best in Mankato, bar none! The ambience is quiet. It is easy to carry on a conversation. Tonight the clam chowder was the most tasty chowder I've had. Can't say enough great things about this restaurant. A hidden gem in Mankato!
